Meet The Team
Meagan Daniell, Partner
CFP, CLU | Certified Financial Planner
I’m a Certified Financial Planner® with over a decade of experience working with business owners and professionals. As a business owner myself, I understand the challenges and opportunities that come with building, growing, and protecting a company—and the importance of aligning financial decisions with both personal and business values.
My background combines finance and human behaviour. I hold a degree in neuropsychology, along with the Certified Financial Planner CFP® and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations, and I bring that interdisciplinary perspective into every client relationship.
Financial strategies are most effective when they align with how people think, plan, and the values that guide their decisions.
I love helping business owners define their vision of success, whether it be growth or an exit strategy, translating it into a clear, actionable financial plan. From tax-efficient growth and risk management to succession and legacy planning, I work with families and businesses across generations to ensure continuity, clarity, and confidence at every stage.
My approach is strategic and grounded, with a clear focus on meaningful, measurable value. I aim to make complex planning concepts simple, empowering clients to make informed decisions with confidence.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is my family. I’m raising three little humans and am deeply committed to shaping kind, curious, fun-loving people. I’m passionate about travel, food, and experiencing new cultures, with 36 countries visited so far and counting.
Together, let’s build a plan that supports both the life you’re living now—and the future you’re excited to grow into.
Life is more vivid when your future is secure!
Darren Milne, Partner
CFP, CPA, CMA | Certified Financial Planner
With over two decades and a wide breadth of experience in the financial industry, I am the trusted source for my clients’ financial concerns and questions. Watching my father operate his insurance planning & group benefits practice for over half a century taught me how strong planning and always acting in the best interest of clients impacts their comfort, legacy and available life experiences. Today, the cornerstone of my work is wealth and estate planning for incorporated business owners, the self-employed, executives and professionals. Trusted to actively manage portfolios and plan for important transitions, I bring confidence and peace of mind to my clients.
As a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Professional Accountant, it’s my job to preserve, protect, nurture assets, and ideate and execute customized financial plans. I create flexible strategies to accomplish long-term goals, design succession plans or intergenerational asset
transfers. With my guidance, clients are prepared to navigate the unpredictability of life and economic circumstances in order to reach long-term financial success — and enjoy themselves along the way.
Let’s turn financial transitions into new beginnings and successful opportunities.

Ruben Jimenez, Associate
CFP® | Certified Financial Planner
I’ve spent my career encountering business owners who get world-class advice on their business and generic advice on everything else. Their accountant understands the corporate tax picture. Their lawyer understands the corporate structure. But too often, no one is connecting those pieces to the owner’s personal wealth. Decisions get made in silos, and the owner pays for it later through unnecessary taxes, missed opportunities, or a lack of coordination.
I understand this firsthand because I’m a business owner myself. Building my own practice has meant living the same tradeoffs I help my clients navigate, and it’s sharpened how I think about what actually matters when personal and business finances are on the line.
A financial plan only works when someone owns the whole picture, not just one piece of it. I believe financial planning isn’t a product, it’s the framework every financial decision should be built on. The plan is the roadmap. It brings clarity to where you are today, where you want to go, and the best path to get there. That’s the gap I fill.
As your lead planner, I bring together every aspect of your financial life, business and personal, into one coordinated plan. From cash flow and tax planning to investments, insurance, retirement, and the business exit you may not be thinking about yet, every recommendation starts with the plan. Investments and insurance aren’t the starting point. They’re simply tools used to implement the strategy.
I intentionally work with a select number of business owners so every client receives thoughtful advice, proactive planning, and the attention they deserve.
What I bring to the table is a range of experience most planners don’t have. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with mom-and-pop owners just getting started, entrepreneurs running multi-million dollar operations, young families building their first plan, and established owners thinking about the legacy they’ll leave behind. Different stages, different bank balances, but always the same underlying need: someone to see the whole picture and connect the dots.
I hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation, along with securities and insurance licenses, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Trinity Western University, with concentrations in Finance and International Business.
Outside of work, I became a father this year, and that’s where most of my time outside the office goes these days. When I do get out, you’ll find me playing pickup basketball or exploring beautiful British Columbia by bike.
If you’re looking for a financial advisor who starts with a plan, not a product, and can connect your business and personal financial life into one clear strategy, I’d welcome the opportunity to work with you.
Daniel Henry, Associate
Group Benefits Advisor
I moved to British Columbia after earning my B.A. from Carleton University in Ottawa.
With over 25 years of experience in entrepreneurship and small business leadership, I founded an organic grocery delivery company in 1998, which expanded from a single location to five across Western Canada over 15 years. This journey gave me deep insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by business owners.
In 2017, I became a Financial Advisor, leveraging my entrepreneurial background to assist business owners in navigating their financial futures.
Currently, as a Group Benefits Associate with Vitality, I focus on designing insurance and benefit solutions that enhance both company performance and employee well-being.
