Meet Meagan Daniell B.A., CFP, CLU

I had the privilege of growing up in beautiful North Vancouver, B.C, with my parents and two sisters. We grew up extremely active in sports and the outdoors between competitive ballet, gymnastics, hiking, camping, and rock hopping up the rivers in our enchanting forests. Education was always a big part of my life; everyone on my mothers’ side of the family is or was a school principal. I always knew my career would involve an “educator” role and helping people, but I also knew it would involve entrepreneurship and finance. The idea to start a financial planning firm came about when I sat on the client side, working with a financial planner for my own financial literacy purposes at the age of 20. It was during that experience that I discovered what I was meant to do.

Vitality Wealth Management embraces everything I am passionate about: people, business, education and life! We are a Vancouver-based wealth management and estate planning firm dedicated to helping business owners, professionals and families to navigate effectively and efficiently through life. We focus on helping you to discover and articulate what living life to the fullest means to you and align it with a goal-oriented plan.

When I’m not working with my amazing clients, you can find me spending time with my family, hiking, cooking, and planning my next travel adventure!

Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP)

The most widely recognized financial planning designation in Canada and worldwide, the Certified Financial Planner® designation provides assurance to Canadians that the design of their financial future rests with a professional who will put their clients’ interests ahead of their own. CFP professionals have demonstrated the knowledge, skills, experience and ethics to examine their clients’ entire financial picture, at the highest level of complexity required of the profession, and work with their clients to build a financial plan so that they can Live Life Confidently™.

To obtain the CFP designation, candidates must complete a rigorous education program, pass a national exam and earn three years of qualifying work experience. To maintain certification, CFP professionals must keep their knowledge and skills current by completing Continuing Education courses every year. They must also adhere to FP Canada Standards Council’s Standards of Professional Responsibility, including a Code of Ethics which mandates that CFP professionals must always place their clients’ interests first. FP Canada vigilantly enforces these standards among its designation holders.

Chartered Life Underwriter Designation (CLU)

The Chartered Life Underwriter CLU® designation is Canada’s premier wealth transfer and estate planning designation. The CLU is an advanced designation that expands on the knowledge gained in the CFP® education program with a focus on effective solutions for business owners and professionals in the areas of risk management, estate planning and wealth transfer. For more than 80 years, the CLU designation has been widely recognized as a mark of excellence in the industry.
