It’s normal to feel a lot of ways about money. A hot button topic for the best of us, my deep understanding of very human habits makes me easy to talk to and learn from. It feels wonderful to be the reason clients can finally face their financial future with confidence.
Hailing from a large family of professional educators, I knew this was my future—it just turned out to include money. While pursuing my neuropsychology degree, I fell in love with all things finance and human behaviour, and how I could apply my studies to educating people about their own unique path forward. From there I obtained my Certified Financial Planning (CFP) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designations, further distinguishing myself from the herd.
As clients inevitably become more like friends and family, over a cup of coffee or glass of wine, awkward questions about money cease to exist. Together we work to patch knowledge gaps and design plans for the future. I believe money should work to fuel our passions, goals and security. For myself, that includes traveling the world, bettering my community and planet, and finding the fun in life.
My own financial outlet is exploring new countries and immersing myself in unfamiliar cultures. It’s important for me to explore the world without worrying about money or managing the future I want. Living in the moment is more vivid when the future is secure. During my travels I seek to learn local customs and culture. This practice enriches my worldview and allows me to better serve my diverse stable of clients.
Together, we can determine what’s worthy of your investment.
